The New Course

6625 yards, par 71

The oldest ‘new’ course in the world, the second course at the Home of Golf was built by the Keeper of the Green Tom Morris in 1895 and it was imaginatively named to differentiate from its famous neighbour. Boasting undulating fairways and challenging greens, the New Course is a classic test of Links golf.

Booking
Advance bookings for the New Course (min two golfers) can be made at least two days ahead and the full green fee is payable in advance. Any bookings for play less than two days ahead can be made by approaching the Starter on the day of play. Tee times are allocated on a first come first served basis and payment is made on the day to the Starter.

Private Advance Tee Times 2018
For 2018 bookings, you can apply using the application form which will be available here from early October. More details (including 2018 green fees) will be available on this page in mid September 2017.

The New Course is an understated, hidden gem! It really is a classic test of true Links golf.

Allan McLean, Lanark, hcp 13.
