Born and raised in Dublin, Ireland, Scott joined the Academy as a Class AA PGA Professional in January 2017. This was following hugely successful coaching positions at Killeen Castle and Co. Louth Golf Club; venues that have hosted both Men’s and Ladies European Tour events including the prestigious Solheim Cup in 2013 (Killeen Castle).

Scott joined the PGA after his studies in Engineering and now has over ten years of dedicated coaching experience. In this time, he has worked with players of all abilities from complete beginners to recreational golfers to touring professionals. He is also the Development Golf Coach at St Leonards School; Scotland’s biggest School Golf Programme.

Scott continued his professional development by completing a multitude of coaching and custom fitting courses including certifications in the following; SAM Putt Lab, TrackMan, BodiTrak Golf Ground Mechanics, European Custom Fitting and EyeLine Golf Registered Putting.

Scott remains an avid learner of golf and takes pride in motivating players to get the most from their game. He firmly believes in creating a coaching environment where golfers can transfer their newly learned skills directly onto the golf course.
