South African duo clinch Father & Son title

The 2016 Father & Son Tournament attracted a globetrotting field for 5 unforgettable days at the Home of Golf. 24 teams of father and son duos travelled from nine different countries to compete over the New Course, Carnoustie, Kingsbarns before the event culminated on the world's most famous Links, the Old Course at St Andrews Links. After 4 rounds of the better ball stableford format in glorious Spring sunshine Wayne and Keegan Bartlett, from Johannesburg, South Africa, clinched the title with 153 points, five points clear of their nearest challengers from Australia and Canada. Final Standings 1st - Wayne & Keegan Bartlett from Johannesburg, South Africa – 153 pts 2nd - Brian & Wesley Bowley from Perth, Australia – 148 pts (after count back) 3rd – Bob & Brent McGlashan from Vancouver, Canada – 148 pts Chairman of the St Andrews Links Management Committee Steve Race presented Wayne and Keegan with their trophy at a celebratory prizegiving on the final night.
