Ian Poulter
Ian Poulter won the last event of 2007.

England's Ian Poulter shot a 1-under-par 69 to win the Dunlop Phoenix golf tournament by three strokes. It was his only win of the year, and the last event in which a win could be recorded for 2007.

Poulter finished on 11-under 269 at the Phoenix Country Club to pip Spain's Gonzalo Castano, who shot a 68 in the final round.

"It's great to win here in Japan," said Poulter, who claimed the US$364,250 winner's purse . "I waited a long time this year to win a tournament."

England's Luke Donald (71) tied for third with Japan's Shingo Katayama, who carded a final round 68.

Defending champion Padraig Harrington carded an impressive 69 to end his campaign but was six shots off the pace alongside American Brandt Snedeker.
