Booking Terms and Conditions

  • Correspondence should be made by the designated lead golfer of the booking, whose name is on the original application and who is in receipt of the e-mail confirmation of tee times. 
  • An official handicap card/certificate should be presented to the starter when playing the Old Course. This should be no more than 24 for men and 36 for ladies. 
  • Trolleys and buggies are available for all courses but are subject to some restrictions at certain times on the Old Course. A limited number of buggies are available on all courses but certain restrictions apply.
  • Caddies can be requested for all courses, click here to request online .
  • Fairway mats will be in use during the low season on all courses.
  • Club hire can be requested for all courses, click here to request online.


Payment Information

  • Payments should be made by the lead golfer by contacting the Reservations Team or using the secure link on the e-mail confirmation (third party payments will not be accepted). 
  • Once payment has been received, an official confirmation will be sent by e-mail which should be shown to the Starter on the day. 
  • If prior to payment the number of your golfers reduces, no additions can be made at a later stage (Old Course only).
  • All green fees are non refundable. We strongly recommend that you arrange travel insurance to provide cover in the event that you are unable to play at your booked time.
  • Please be aware that pre-paid green fees for any other course cannot be transferred as part payment for a successful ballot on the Old Course.


Making Changes

  • For Old Course bookings, only the named golfers from the original application will be allowed to play. 
  • The name of the lead golfer cannot change. 
  • For each tee time in a group booking, only one name can be changed in advance to the list of named golfers supplied to us on the original application form. The name change will apply over both courses for any two course package which includes the Old Course.
  • If a change of name is to be made, the lead golfer should advise the Reservations Team quoting the booking reference, between 28 and 21 days before the first day of play. The replacement golfer’s name, home club and handicap will be required.
  • Name changes for the Old Course are not permitted at any other time. 
  • Single golfers cannot change.



Terms & Conditions

  • A contract between the customer and St Andrews Links Golf Shops Limited for the sale of our products will only exist once an order has been accepted and processed (at which point the buyer’s credit card will be charged for the value of goods despatched, plus postage where appropriate). This does not affect the customer’s statutory rights.
  • Our goods are provided to customers on the basis that title will not pass until a period of three months has elapsed since the items were despatched. This term applies regardless of the method of payment used in relation to the goods.
  • St Andrews Links Golf Shops Limited cannot accept liability for any failure by the customer to comply with specific instructions stated in the garment, catalogue, or website. This statement does not affect the customer’s statutory rights.
  • We accept most major credit cards.
  • Our website will endeavour to show all items available in our current ranges. We try to hold stock of all styles and sizes while a product is displayed on the website.
  • Prices and availability of goods are subject to change without notice. A delivery charge will be added to your order value, please see Shipping page for more details.
  • Goods purchased on the website can be returned to us for a full refund or exchange within three months of the date of purchase.
  • If the goods are subject to import duties and/or taxes for overseas orders, these costs will solely be borne by you.
